Formed 13th July 1981 by guitarist Matt Hocking the first line up also featured Mike Booth on bass. Vocalist Clive Peacock joined in time for initial rehearsals and the trio all remain in the band to this day.
After a break up of the band Mid 1980's the band decided to start working together again in 2006.
Things went better than expected and events took a more serious turn as they entered the studio to cut
a 4 track CD. The sound, created quite a stir and after being asked to support Sham 69 at an event, they suddenly found themselves gracing a stage at the famed Guilfest in Surrey for several years.
Now a decade The Bram Stokers take on fast and brash late 70’s early 80’s New Wave sound proving to be a winning formula. The band, enjoy their most successful period yet. Another 4 track EP recorded regular higher profile venues in London including an audience friendly Dublin Castle. More gigs will see out the remainder of this year and extensive UK tours next year,
